HelikoSearch is an intelligent, powerful and efficient search engine that allows you to search the Internet for any
information by simply typing the keyword(s) you are looking for.
In order to get the best results possible, HelikoSearch let's you choose between various categories of search engines.
It gives you also the possibility to create your own category with only the search engines of your choice.
To perform a requested search, Heliko consults on the Internet the best search engines for all the results related to
your query and compiles the information in order to provide you with a concise result.
HelikoSearch let's you create a new search using either its Basic or Advanced search tool.
The results of your search can be displayed either in HTML mode or in a List. Results can be displayed according to
their relevancy, or sorted by search engine, title, URL...
Results of previous searches can be viewed through the HelikoSearch History tab. It is possible to sort this data and
to update an old search.
HelikoSearch can verify the link integrity of the results after a search in order for the user to have only valid
results' links. It can also validate the content of the search results. In such case, HelikoSearch verifies that the
keyword(s) are actually present in the different result web pages. This same validation can also be done with other
words than those of your search query in order to target even further your search.
Results can also be exported in both HTML and tagged text file format.
Another nice feature of HelikoSearch is the ability to view the result web pages directly in the application. There is
no need to launch a web browser, HelikoSearch let's you browse the Web to your convenience in its own environment.
If you wish to easily keep track of the best results you have found, HelikoSearch has created for you a Site library
folder. By simply dragging a link to this window, you can organize all your favorite result web sites in a tree like
structure.
You can also add notes to your search results and to your favorites sites in your own Site library.
